Thunderbird won't let you access your Gmail account

Problem: You're trying to set up your Gmail acct in Thunderbird, but it won't accept your username/password and keeps asking you if you're sure it's correct.

Solution:
https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps → Enable → Try logging in w/Thunderbird again

Rename a Printer

Problem:  You want to rename one of your printers to make it easier to recognize.

Solution: Control Panel → Devices and Printers → R click (on printer) → Printer Properties → type in the new name next to the printer icon in the General tab→ OK

Windows Cannot Search/Find Anything inside a Google Drive Folder

Problem: You downloaded Google Drive for desktop and when you search for a file within its folder(s), Windows cannot find it.

Solution: R click (on the folder) → Properties → [General Tab] Advanced → UNcheck "Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties" → OK → (Apply changes to this folder, subfolder and files) OK →

→ R click (on the folder) → Properties → [General Tab] Advanced → CHECK "Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties" → OK → (Apply changes to this folder, subfolder and files) OK

Windows 8.1 Does Not Recognize Your Nexus 7

Problem: You want to load some files onto your Nexus 7 but Windows 8.1 does not recognize it.

Solution: Control Panel → Devices & Printers → R-click Nexus 7 → Properties → Hardware → Properties → Change Settings → Driver → Uninstall (OK) → Unplug Nexus 7 → Plug Nexus 7 back in & let it reinstall the drivers

Breaking up Blocks of Wax

Problem: You have a big block of wax that you want to break up so you can melt it.

Solution: 

  1. Prop one end of the block up on something like a stair, a brick, another block of wax, (anything that will create space beneath the block)
  2. Hit the center of the block with a hammer 
  3. Repeat until you get down to desired size
  4. (optional) Once you get down to smaller chunks, you can use a brick set to further reduce each piece

Droid Razr M: Access Voicemail Without Entering Password

Problem: You're sick of having to enter your password every time you check your voicemail on your Droid Razr M

Solution: Open up your dialer Image → Menu Image → Settings → Voicemail → Setup → Voicemail Number → *# → add a comma (,) then your password, then # (Example: *86,1234#) → OK
