Softening Cream Cheese

Problem: A recipe you want to make calls for "softened" cream cheese.

Solution: (completely) unwrap the cream cheese → put it on a plate → microwave on HIGH for 15 sec

Edit Android Custom Dictionary

Problem: You accidentally inputted a word that's not a word, or you just want to edit the Custom Dictionary on your Android device.

Solution:
4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich: Home Screen > Settings > (Personal) Language and Input > (Keyboards and input methods) Samsung keyboard > Predictive text > My word list

Transferring Garmin Favorites

Problem: You've bought a new/another Garmin & you don't want to spend hours transferring your Favorites  to your new Garmin.

Solution:
Go to x:/Garmin/GPX/Current.gpx 
Copy "Current.gpx"
Go to that same location on your new Garmin 
Paste "Current.gpx" & rename it something else.gpx
Restart new Garmin

Change Drive Letters in Vista

Problem: Your drive letters spontaneously changed themselves upon restart & you want to change them back.  (Or perhaps you just want to change your drive letters)

Solution: Start button > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > (on the L) Disk Management > R click on the drive you want to change > Change Drive Letter and Paths

System Specs

Problem: You want to know your computer's system specs for some reason.

Solution: Start > Run > type "dxdiag.exe" > Enter
